MIDWAY ATOLL 2005 --MIDWAY, KURE and TERN ISLANDS-- ++FEATURING JUNGLE-TECH 3D VEGETATION MODELLING++ BWsim presents a new scenery pack for Midway Atoll on the northern tip of the Hawaiian Islands. This pack also includes scenery for French Frigate Shoals (Tern Island) and Kure Atoll. All airports and facilities have been redeveloped along with significant Coastline modification and where possible land-class enhancement. THE JUNGLE-TECH CONCEPT Jungle-Tech is an innovative new technique for modelling thick areas of forest and jungle for localised scenery areas. Jungle-Tech utilises scaled and rotated base macros to create realistic dense canopy jungles. The process creates a visual effect quite different to traditional flightsim trees. Where normal trees practically disappear when viewed form above or a high angle, and require a large number of macro’s to create any semblance of a forest, DBWsim’s Jungle-Tech creates lush, dense forest areas that actually resemble real jungles.
