the new custom ground...i didn't want to use the sat image so made my own layout.
Concrete sections...just some interesting shots if your curious how its done...not the layers for grass, mask, concrete and shading marks. this way i can make the seasonal textures easily as all i have to do is alter the grass sections and the rest is un altered

YES..it is missing one part...for some reason it wouldn't compile with it so i have to make that part again!
Im toying with the idea of having the gate numbers on the top, i think it looks good

Right then... back to buisness. Ok so it seems this one dabble in scenery design has indeed turned into an addiction (flyhalf )! So in my now serious effort to actually roll out a decent quality scenery i have gone back to the drawing board with the ground layout, now adding concrete and custom markings into the mix...the screenshots below are my early stages as im getting all the splines and polys for the marking the correct opacity and sharpness. then ill fine tune them all to create a rather nice ground layout Since its christmas and i work in retail i am flat out working constantly so time isnt somthing i have alot of at the moment, that said ill try to keep you updated on how its going..i forsee this part of the project taking the longest.

Concrete and asphalt textures made in HD 2048 resolution so if you have HD enabled the terminal and ground layout should look nice!
