How about landing it in one of the lakes up there?

Curious, what is your source for modelling? I ask because I see some inconsistencies  from what I am familiar with.

There are about 1001 variations of DC-3's out there.   I chose one that looked authentic for the period.
I hope you understand that I spent a few weeks (and quite a few dollars) gathering photos from collectors, going out to an airport where I was lucky enough to find a DC-3 and buying up documentation, and would rather not share where I got them.
My photos folder is 347MB and the documentation folder is 113MB.  Quite a few PDF's.

Everything in 3D.
Gauges, knobs, dials, even the screws.
Zoom into the gauges, and you'll see 3D needles.
