Hi everyone, I ran into this while doing a search in Google,

http://translate.goo...l=e...6lr=&sa=X

http://rapidshare.co...er_2.0.rar.html

It is said that it sets FSX in tune with your computer, giving you fast FPS, I have tried to translate it and understand some of it but I still cant get it to work, can anyone work it out?

I down loaded it and what I can tell (I don't read or speak German, that is what this is right?) is that someone has put a package together with the same tweaks we can get here.

In the down load there is...

A New AutogenDescriptions.spb file

3 OptData.fsop files (I have no clue what they are, never seen them before)

New Texure files

New Buldings files

And a FlightSim X - Optimizer.exe , all that will do is place the above files in the right spot of your FSX.

All this was made on November 3 of 2006, so I really don't think there is anything new that we haven't tried yet. But we could wait for a ?German? person to give us details.

I am sure those fsop files tweaks the settings well, from trying to translate the website I see that people are very pleased with what they get performance wise, seems interesting!

It only works if you have the german version of windows xp. Oh well

Rear one!

So, I have the program now still once changed… A few small references still:

1. It would have to actually be able with all versions from the FsX (languages).
However it goes only on PCs where the German WindowsXP installed
is. When desired I can do it in addition, for the English Xp version
(or perhaps also for the französiche version) make.

2. Now one can select also the partition, on which Windows installs
is.

3. Now it would have to function actually fehrlerfrei, I has it on verscheidenen PCs von Kumpels and used tested, which have the FsX.

Now wünschei CH you again much success!

LOL I could have google translated.

Like I said above, you really don't need the EXE to install this, all you do is take the contents from the "Data" file and place them yourself. Unless, I am misunderstanding what the EXE dose... Yes you would have to understand where the files go...

AutogenDescriptions.spb... Install into "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Autogen"

The OptData.fsop files... Install into "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Config" NOTE!!! I am not 100% sure on this placement, I have no clue about this type of file.

The texure files... Install into "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\Global\Texture"

The Building "Textures"... Install into "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Texture"
