Newbie wants to know if you can change the active runway 'chosen' by Fs2004 ATC. I usually fly out of FACT (Cape Town) and the ATC defaults to use runway 01 when in real life the weather usually means the active runway is 09 as winds are mostly southerly.
I have a feeling the active runway selected is probably based on the current weather (wind direction?). Is there away you can edit a setting somewhere so that the active runway will change? I guess if I set the weather to be 'real world' then the active runway will probably change?
If this topic has been posted before - apologies - I could not find it in numerous searches.

You need to venture into that specific airports AFCAD. This has all the infomation about runways, lights, airport layout, ILS frequencys etc. You need to download the afcadv2 program(search avsim) to open up the airport and make the runway '09' avaliable for use by the ATC. There are also tutorials avaliable to show you how to modify such things.

Thx TND4NOS. I'll check out editing the AFCAD.
sarge - it was a typo - I should have said i wanted to use runway 19 (ie the reciprocal of 01), not 09 as in my post. Thanks for the comment tho!
