[Heathrow Tower]

Wasn't sure where to post this by the way.

We at fs2004.com should have our own island! It could have an airport and scenery and it would look beautiful.

I'm sure we have many good people here who can make good scenery!

We could each have a little something on the island that is ours, like a bunch of flags with all our names on them!

If you guys want to go ahead with this i'll start to make a list of jobs here. Oh and it would obviously only be available to members of the forum.

I'm not forgetting those with fsx so well need one for them too!

Top idea.

There's plenty of small empty islands to choose from. Maybe Caribbean somewhere.

We could have a small airstrip and tower, also a float plane jetty and most importantly, a pub.

Could start it off using Rwy12 objects until a proper team can code up a better one?

Carribean island with small airstrip and tower with pub scenery lol

Ideas   should have a TNCM kinda beach at the end of one of the Runways

Hmm very good idea it would be cool if everyone had there own parking space lol but you will need some space for that

I think this is a great Idea! I would fly there more a lot if it existed We should have our own little international airport which we can fly to in Vatsim And our own ATC controllers etc etc.

Unfortunately, I suck when it comes to FS2004 development, I haven't made an addon in my life, so all I can offer is ideas

HT,

Have a go at this on AFCAD. Then the objects can be placed separatly i would imagine. No expert here though....

Main 11k ft ILS runway.
Parallel dirt/grass strip or smaller runway
Parking apron
Night lighting system
basic taxiway, nothing elaborate I say.

Update:

AFCAD - Runway 16/34 built, but the ground in the area is of varying heights! Umm, so its had to be shortened to 5500 ft
