There are new config items to control VSYNC for fullscreen and windowed separately
[DISPLAY]
ForceFullScreenVSync, default is TRUE
ForceVSync, default is FALSE
We have seen cases where when VSYNC is on in fullscreen causing major fluctuations in frame rate especially when setting the rate limiter above 45. If you run into widely fluctuating FPS in fullscreen when aiming for above 45, try turning VSYNC off or reducing below 40.

Under my [Display] tab in the fsx.cfg, it does not show those 2 things......

I got a new computer - will update the specs in my profile for it later. I've installed FSX and SP1 now. And the SP1 actually gave an FPS improvement like 5-8 +. But I still want to use tweaks, so I'm wondering: Should I use only the SP1 tweaks on this thread or can I first tweak the .cfg file with the ordinary FSX tweaks and then add the SP1 tweaks too?
By the way, I've got ATI Radeon X1700SE installed, in FSX in display settings the highest resolution displayed is 1680x1050 (which is the monitors ordinary resolution) but after that the next resolution displayed is 1280x1024, shouldn't there be any 1400x xxxx resolution or something like that? The computer before this had an ATI Radeon X1600XT and had a couple of resolutions between 1680x1050 and 1280x1024 in FSX. Can I fix this?
Thanks

you can use both set of tweeks Mangos pinned prior to spi for example like autogen per cell = and so forth and the new ones
Just one suggestion when tweeking try one at a time, don't put 3 sets of tweeks in the cfg file all at once, just ah helpful hint, cuase I used to do that
also use a benchmark ariport for all your tweeking, to see the differences
