Hey everyone!
I had an idea to start a little tech deals thread so if people find good tech bargains that most people have access to, they won't have to make a new thread each time. Also, check a few other places before you post about the item to be sure it really is a good deal. Here it goes!
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 - $199.99 before shipping (normal price on Newegg is $250)
Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 RAM - $27.99 after $35 mail in rebate (normall $69 on Newegg, Newegg does not offer rebate.)

Those are just a couple I found. Here is the link to Neweggs Daily Deals.
Newegg's Daily Deals

I will try to keep this updated with what I find, but everyone else has to help too!

Why didn't I buy my computer later?! I would've saved $65 on the CPU, $74 on the RAM, and since the 8800GT is $180, $110 from that. That would make it $250 saved+ about $30 on the case and probably more on the other stuff.

Thats life. The deal on the P182 is no more. Ended two days ago. The Q6600 has been $200 for a few months and the RAM has been the same way. I want to go get that RAM, but it is somewhat expensive before rebate and I don't have the money. My PSU cost me $10 after rebate, and if you aren't afraid of Cooler Master PSUs (at least, Toby and I aren't) then you would have saved money too. The only think I somewhat dislike about my PSU is that there are only 3 SATA power connectors. Of course I'm sure there is an adaptor of some sort somewhere that you could put on Molex connectors that would make them work with SATA even though most SATA devices have molex connectors too.

Lowest price for the Q9450 yet over here. Sounds like what it's RRP should be over here

Might be a good idea if you pin this, but have two seperate threads. US and UK (no disrespect to anyone from anywhere else, but the majority of oriented threads like this, the majority of them are either US or UK specific.)

Then have them all in one post, rather than letting the topic run into 18 pages where people won't know where to look for specific hardware, and to have it catagorised into Motherboards/GPUs/CPUs so everything is in one place and is updated regularly

I agree with that for the most part. Although, I'm not sure about all in one post. Deals do expire after a while, and it would be a pain in the butt to have to go and find what is still available then remove what isnt. I think it would be easy to just make new posts and have a deal that was available before be posted again on a different page then go back through and edit it out.

I do like the idea of having a thread for the US and the UK considering that Newegg doesnt ship to anywhere but the US and OcUK is a British/European thing.

Some new deals I found (they are somewhat deals anyways):
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ MicroCenter - $349.99 (limit 1 per customer)
Save $30 off the Newegg price.
Intel Celeron Dual Core E1200 @ MicroCenter - $49.99 before shipping
Save $10 off newegg price before shipping, $4 cheaper with standard shipping, $2 cheaper for 2 day shipping, $2 more for next day shipping.

Newegg still haves better prices.
Microcenter only has good CPU prices because they buy a few tons of the product.

O really? I just found a 150GB Raptor X for $15 cheaper than Newegg.

Western Digital Raptro X 150GB 10,000 RPM SATA-150 Hard Drive - $159.99 @ MicroCenter
150GB Raptor X SATA-150 on Newegg - $174.99

Edit: Another wonderful HDD deal.
Western Digital 1TB IntelliPower 5200-7200rpm SATA 3.0 Gb/s Hard Drive - $199.99 @ MicroCenter.
Same HDD at Newegg - $229.99

From somebody that actually went to a physical MicroCenter store, I have to say that probably 70% of their computer hardware is priced higher than Newegg.  The Q6600 sale has been going on for about a month now.  The E8400's are also $199 when I was there last.  Sure, great prices, but a $90 motherboard on newegg for $140? A $140 graphic card at newegg for $185? Trust me, they make their money alright.

Now back to the deals:

The purpose of this thread is to find good deals, no matter what website or store they are at.
I do agree, most of their motherboards are more expensive. Like the Neo2-FR is $120 on newegg new but $140 at MicroCenter. And the GA-P35-DS3L is $115 at MicroCenter but $96 on Newegg after shipping. MicroCenter does have some things more expensive, but they also have good deals on others. For example, I got my P182 from MicroCenter for $70 after rebate while it was ~$150 on Newegg without a rebate. It is still at $110 on the egg with a rebate.

Although you do have to keep in mind that one of the advantages of MicroCenter is you can find good deals on items and be able to pick them up in a store rather than have to wait a couple days for an order to get processed and then another 3 days for it to ship.

Cheapest 512MB 8800GT I found:
Open box MSI 8800GT - $159.99 @ Newegg
Cheapest new 512MB 8800GT I found (2 of them):
XFX 8800GT - $169.99 after $30 rebate @ Newegg
BFG Tech 8800GT - $169.99 after $30 rebate @ Newegg

Lower prices > instant delivery. And the average processing time for Newegg is one day. Shipping is three.

Thats still 4 days.
Also, just because something has a lower price on newegg doesnt mean it actually ends up being cheaper. It can end up costing more after shipping.
All I am saying is there are other option besides Newegg that offer good deals as well.

Good deal on the Core 2 Duo E8400 in the UK:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 - £132.72 inc. VAT @ Aria Save over £50 from the OcUK price. Thats ~$110 USD.

Again, Online resellers CAN'T compete against Stores.
