Welcome to the 59th monthly screenshot contest - June 2008 Official Screenshot Contest

This months entries have skyrocketed since last month with 17 entries. Some entries did not make it into the contest as they didn't pass the rules. The theme this month was Airbus only, I personally think it was an excellent theme with alot of people able to use a vast range of favourite Airbus aircraft.


This months contest is sponsored by:

A2ASimulations (formerly Shockwave), a Connecticut based, US company that specializes in simulations, 3D aircraft, visuals, and sound. The winner of the contest will receive his choice of product from A2ASimulation's lineup!

I'm suprised at how many beautiful pics there are here! Dare I say, these Airbuses almost look as good as 747s!

Well now you can see what else gains votes... first its 747's, now its grass in sceneries. Whats next that you happen to come up with?

Stop critising other peoples shots because they happen to use different ideas to gain votes.

So what do you suggest? We place a rule that only freeware addons are allowed or even one step further, entirely the same default aircraft and location? Then we'd just be judging screenshots on an inevitably definite number of angles.

I agree, technically it isn't exactly "fair". But, at the end of the day, this would be an incredibly dull contest if we didn't permit the best of addons available for FS9. This contest is just a bit of fun.

I am sorry mate, but the plane is freeware, the background is default I think, and there are some freeware sceneries with grass like that (LOWI scenery) And maybe some more, you just have to think about the shot your making. Btw, there is allot more to a shot then just grass and a PMDG aircraft.

Just my 3 cents. Back on topic:

I loved the Olympic A340 shot, very moody.
