CCleaner - A freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space.

Does that mean it will clean up those "deleted files" that are always on your hard drive, even after you have emptied the recycle bin?

Spacemonger - creates a scrollable, zoomable visual representation of the contents of your HD, with the area of each peice representing the size of a file. Makes is very easy to see if there are any unnecessary files talking up valuable space. Within the software, files and folders can be selected, deleted and otherwise manipulated in the same way as if they were in a normnal window. It *is* free, but its nagware - the free one is fully functional, but it'll keep pestering you to buy it.

If you like this one, You should try Piriform's Defraggler.
Defraggler

It analyzes the drive and finds the files that are fragmented, and then targets just those files without having to process the entire drive. I have found that it works much much faster that way compared to Auslogics or default Windows Disk Defrag.
