Would have been nice to receive a reason for my entry not being approved.

#1 is a nice unique edit, #2 is a screen shot.  #3 is also nice.

And still, number two gets my vote.

I almost voted for 2, but didn't see any evidence of editing.

I doens't need to be edited. And it's the only screenshot that is 100% free from jaggies and/or blur. That plays a big role in how I vote.

But I must add that I also like the fouth edit. It's just a matter of taste that I chose the second one.

I vote for aesthetic values, creativity and the amount of work that was put into an edited screenshot. Simply switching AA to 16x and hitting V with a too tightly framed subject isn't my idea of a great edit. Had I known that sharpness is more important than anything else to so many people then I wouldn't have put that much work into my vintage shot from September's contest and rather entered a sharp looking run-of-the-mill shot and been done with it in 5 minutes. :hrmm:

I rather vote for a good shot, instead for a bad edit.

Me too, when I see one. But sharpness alone doesn't make for a good shot. That's all I'm saying. And in this case I have the opinion that sharpness is all that the 2nd shot (which is leading the vote by far) has going for itself. The framing is too tight, as I said, the background is boring and the aircraft has been seen a thousand times.

We have different ways of seeing what a good edit is. You have yours and I have mine. Fine. Now let's bury the battle axes. :hrmm:

I didn't even pick it up. I was merely discussing on a Discussion Board. :hrmm:

No me either. The fact that no one of us is going to change our opinions (the three posts where almost the same) made me think that this was a worthless discussion. It would only continue for ever.
