The date has been set for the first 'Irelands Flight Simulation Expo event. The event will take place in the Clarion Hotel, Dublin Airport on the 18th of April 2009 from 09:00 - 18:00. We are currently in talks with other well-known companies who are interested in attending the event. The last time Ireland had an event like this was back in 2006, so we feel this will be very welcomed within the Irish simming community.

Good news for all the Irish or Ireland-based flight simulation enthusiasts. It's a nice way in promoting a game, plus making it feel more global by appealing to less popular areas around the world.
I feel these events are happening more easily these days all thanks to several virtual flight simming organizations, particularly IVAO, etc. Most of them have individual sections for each country, where its members organize several annual events, etc. Its a good way to promote something domestically!
