Congrats fighter, I've been watching you on KakaoStats climbing up rapidly!  Keep it up man, your definitely helping this team out alot!  BTW - How many PPD is your GTX275 getting?

Congrats! I'm quite sure that your machine is the quickest one on here that's folding for us. You must be churning rather high PPD's!

That is pretty good I think.  :hrmm: Although since my parents are divorced this rig only runs every other week. So next week I'll be running on a 3.0GHz Q6600 and a G92 core 8800GTS :hrmm:

Are you not running the SMP client for your E8400?  The 8800GTS 512MB is actually quite a good folding card; its shader frequencies can be overclocked to the 2000MHz region which helps a ton for folding.  Amazing PPD on that GTX275; my 9600GSO only crunches around 2700PPD with the 511 pointers.

I have no idea how to tell it's the SMP client.  :hrmm: But thanks for the info about the 8800GTS shaders I wonder why that helps for folding.

The shaders are what does most of the work when you're folding, so the higher the shader frequency, the faster the work unit gets completed.
