I'm folding again!
I have SMP working and I am trying to get GPU2 working again as well.

Right now I'm mostly running the CPU single threaded version. The SMP version seems to take out my GPU client for some reason.

On the cooler days I might pop open my window and run the GPU version.

Well, given all the excuses you've given us over the past months for not folding....I'm not scared.  :hrmm: :hrmm:

Oh trust me, I'm back. Full steam ahead!
Fahmon is showing a little under over 5k PPD.

And eventually, I plan on having another rig running GPU2 and SMP (it might be a few months, but it will happen). So that will help too.

I will probably be folding most weekdays when I am at school and over the summer. I still have two weeks left :hrmm:
My mom "banned" me from Battlefield 2, so I cannot be on as much anymore. Only when she isn't home. Besides that, I don't have anything running that would cause me to stop folding.

Oh, and I am up to around 5500 PPD now according to fahmon too :hrmm:

Are you running two SMP clients to make full use of that Q6600?

Just one actually. I didn't know I could run two :hrmm:
I'm gonna go set up a second one right now!

Second SMP client is configured and running. I now have two SMP clients and a GPU2 client. I hope to set up a normal CPU client on my old server soon as well.

How is your Q6600 doing with the two SMP clients running?  Total system PPD should be around 8-9K now.

The bad news on my end is that I'll be taking my PC off FAH SMP from tomorrow but the good news is that I'll be applying and stability testing my E8400's overclock, which means more PPD later. I've seen a marked drop in PPD since moving back to a dual core but an overclock should easily even out that gap.

Haha. Not even close. Idk why, but my SMP gives me a total of like 150 PPD. Anyone know why?

You don't have SMP running correctly.  Let's see your FahMon.

Yeah, that's not SMP. Read the guides online on how to install it correctly. You should easily be getting ~4,000PPD from your CPU alone. Good luck. Post back for any questions.

ok. i made a new directory and tried it again. I tried running as administrator (which is the only thing I didn't do before), and it told me "The installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer Package."
What now?
