Bman.
I am breaking my own rule here on the layout but it seems a little stale in the Places we fly sub-forum. I have started my around the globe trip. Here is the trip so far... a long way to go...

Hope you have fun on you ATW tour. I have tried those before. I get about 25% through and get bored.

Yeah, it's not the most exciting thing but it is giving me a chance to focus on specific plans, specific approaches and crazy ATC accents on Vatsim..
I am on leg 10 now..and a lonnng way to go.

Good luck, bman! What you could try to do is whenever you land at a location, go on the internet and research the place a bit. It's quite surprising how much you could learn about locations on Earth from doing this! (that's what I did on my "not-yet-finished" ATW tour)

Best of luck on your around the world tour. I know how long and laborious it can get at times. I have to agree with "InsanePilot" above /\ /\ /\ that when you land at a location read up about the local area. I am doing a tour at the moment from the 80 flights around the world add on and as much as i love the flying, the amount im learning and seeing from around the world makes it that much better. So far i've flown from edinburgh UK all the way down to Cape Town SA and im heading back up to Dubai now.
To keep it interesting for me I have a little online blog at www.Homepilotadventures.wordpress.com with photos and videos from my travels. I try to find local music and food recipies to cook. Its the closest I can get to travelling the world with no budget!
Keep up the flights as thats the real reason we do the tours though
Check out my blog too! hehe *Shameless plug*http://www.homepilot...s.wordpress.com
