Hey, I found this alternative to FSX if you wanna try it...you can purchase the base game, as well as extension packs, and it's super realistic. It has amazing graphics and effects, and it's super easy to use.

I already have the next update partially crafted, but I need to add a few more aircraft and completely redo the Project Opensky links, due to everything being moved to the Free Sky Project website.

Under utilities: add PMSOUNDS by project magenta, which gives you free GPWS Callouts (50, 40, 30, 20, retard, retard, 10 etc) and (v1, v2, gear up) etc.
http://www.projectma...s/pmsounds.html
Requires FSUIPC
Also FACETRACKNOIR, which is a freeware software similar to TrackIR but it uses your webcam to track your head movement. A cheap option for us budget simmers. Connects to fs with simconnect.

This one is a maybe, you can add it if you think its good enough. - Cessna Citation X with VC.

Two more maybe's:

NOTE: For anyone using FSBuild2 set it to export to your PMDG or whatever model AND to FSX too. That way the plan matches your route. For non payware aircraft that use the standard FSX Planner you can, if you wish, create the route on the map then save it as a flight plan.

By the way, regarding the Freeskyproject downloads, after Project Opensky shut down all the Posky files were still available on their (then) defunct website, but then they decided to migrate all the files to the Freeskyproject site. I updated all the broken links in my thread, and then they changed it again and put everything back onto the Posky website. Here are the downlaods: http://www.projectop...p?app=downloads I will update it again in the future.

Oh, wow. I guess all the files are going to end up on AVSIM and Flightsim.com then.
