Sorry, but I call BS (mainly because of serious NDA that should/would be in place, especially when dealing with anything Microsoft). Howver, it could also be my overactive skepticism.

If Microsoft want any hope of this game/simulator to be successful, they simply have to start fresh, all over again. They can't just use the same old engine that dates all the way back to FS98.

But then again, i wouldn't be too surprised if that would actually happen.

Anyway, time will tell and hopefully i am wrong. I'm not jumping to any conclusion at this time anyway

Any ideas when some taster screenshots which don't look like those fake ones done on FS9 and FSX before will come out?

I grabbed this from one of Microsoft's press releases. Supposedly, it's what Flight will look like with DX11.

+1, I think we'll see X-Plane overtake MS if they make another up FSX

Are you sure Microsoft actually released that for the Microsoft Flight press release?  Something tells me they didn't because they released that image as the artist impression of what FSX would look like with DX10.

EDIT: Buziel, the one you found must be photoshopped by someone.  The official Microsoft press release did not include any images.

Will it be optimized for 64bit proc so it can use insane amounts of memory and multiple cores so it can use an insane amount of cpu and also take advantage more of the gpu so it utilizes even more resources to look pretty and perform good?
