Not too long though. We missed out on some amazing LMPA scenery that Technicoloryawn had made...

There's a tutorial on using inverse kinematics on the jetways to make them connect to the planes in FSX: http://www.fsdevelop..._video_tutorial.

right as suggested ive had a go at modeling the terminal area and carpark...im still not convinced that the texture placement is going to be high enough rez.

If anyone has any good tips for texturing long terminals in one go please let me know.

anyhow got to see if i can export this now  :hrmm:

What 3d modeler is that? I was considering placing a ground texture via a 3d modeler but How do you know if the texture is the right size and perameters?

Its Gmax. the scene is scaled via an airport object that you know the precise dimentions of (the runway in my case) a plane is made to these dimentions and the the background image is scaled accordingly intil the correct scale is acheived. The ground texture is the only thing made in Sbuilderx this alows me to make easily changeable seasonal and night textures. I've decided to revert back to the sbulder x version instead of the high rez poly, don't ask why.. there lots of factors that are just pissing me off and the scenery is looking great without it.

Ok so heres where were at...

-Terminal area done
-Ground Image, seasons and night textures done.
-All objects placed, some need tweaking and aligning properly.
-Ground markings are half way there.
-Jetways are now complete with correct parking numbers and a nice new custom parking ground thingy  :hrmm:

Nearly there heres some shots of how its looking currently.

Thanks for all the support and comments, i really do appreciate all of them  :hrmm:

Guys i lost this airport in a HD faliure  :hrmm: Pretty upsetting, but i learned an awful lot with this project and once i get settled into my new job i will be staring a fresh one! But i can answer your question anyway. No it wouldnt have, sbuilder x compiles using the FSX SDK, same goes for the buildings.

Sorry to hear that Spam...really promising work you had there.

Any chance SLC might be in the mix? Its a Delta hub and no one has attempted it yet.
