Description:

Use either a Fixed Compass Card or a Rotatable Compass Card rotated to North.
Chart: CYYJ ILS RWY 09

-Take off and head towards 113.7 yyj
-enroute measure time and distance to yyj without the aid of dme.
-enroute triangulate position using 113.7 yyj and 115.9 yvr
-switch to active pass ndb 378 when in range and track to it


Upon reaching Active pass


1. Fly over and then turn HDG 200 degrees switching to track Mill Bay 293 at an angle

2. Use mh + rb = mb to calculate turn to rwy 09
200 + ? = 90
90-200=-110 (+360) =250
make turn to HDG 090 when adf needle points to 250 degrees.

Interesting.  I will need to work my NDB skills over.

Just so I understand what is going on, when you say "When you reach" you mean that when you pass the NDB to be flying away from versus toward - since, if I understand your flight plan correctly, you never fly directly overhead the NDB.

I was just going to update but if a mod could edit these in that would be great.

Or just turn to HDG 210 instead and adjust calculation accordingly
90-210=-120 (+360) = 240

Turn to runway hdg 090 when adf needle reaches 240
