I have to agree that Orbiter kinda sucks.

I've tried it and I just couldn't get into it. I have never tried X-Plane yet, so I can't really judge that.

I can understand not getting into it, but saying it sucks suggests that you know absolutely nothing about it. Anyone really interested in spaceflight will find Orbiter to be an outstanding sim: the physics are outstanding and there are some amazing add-ons for it (NASSP created an Apollo simulation that models virtually every aspect of the spacecraft). It's difficult to master because the physics behind spaceflight aren't easily understood, but that doesn't make the sim suck; in fact, I'd argue exactly the opposite.

Um...cool dude. I'd still recommend Orbiter to anyone and everyone.

Orbiter is good for the 'space' portions since you can launch rockets in stages and work the flight computers, yes. I'm an add for the Apollo add-ons.

I would agree, hence its categorization as a "space simulator." :hrmm: It's not meant to replace X-Plane or FS.
