No, of course there's people online. But VATSIM or VAs or ICAO are a lot more popular and realistic.

Yes, but that does not mean nobody plays. I created a session and 3 people joined it without inviting anyone. Though I hope Microsoft Flight will have more people.

A lot of people still do, I do every now and then. Though it kicks me off for no reason at times, I still use it.

It kicks me off when I exit a session. Weird.

Well, I hope LIVE will be better.

You can only add people if they are online in the same session. But otherwise it's linux731.

Not everyone wants to sign up for vatsim or ivao and deal with the online supervisors, etc.

and I'm sorry.. VAs? You can't exactly play "on" virtual airlines.. care to expand on that?

I'm well aware of what a VA is, I'm a part of a couple big ones.

You smashed gamespy online play, and said "vatsim, va, or ivao" are more popular and realistic.. my point is that VA's are not "online servers" which you mentioned it as in that sentence.

Correct. I meant that they are small organizations that act as if they were big companies (such as Cayman Airways Virtual, or Continental Virtual Airlines) and usually fly either in Gamespy or VATSIM. In some cases also IVAO.

Which ones are you in?

www.deltava.org and www.joinava.org - inactive at Cayman

Delta VA is my preferred airline now, their custom ACARs is just fantastic and one of the best, if not the best.
