According to this video, Microsoft has put Microsoft Flight on hold because they doubt it will be a profitable venture. Now, is this a rumour or real?

FSX still needs tweaks to be playable and will never take advantage of 2011 technology. Plus there are still lots of bugs that must be fixed. And what about some years later? It will be way too outdated.
I know, there will be X-Plane, but there will be no competition and X-Plane will become the monopoly. I don't think that's a good thing.

If you don't believe one, then don't believe the other.
Just wait for the official word...whenever that might be and even IF it's true.

Let's put things into perspective, guys. I know you all want Flight to push ahead, but let's just wait and see what happens. Until then, just assume everything is still on track.

Good point. So how do the Flight magazine people know this news?
Who gave them the info?
Taken from the reply...
"In the current flight! Issue contains new information about the Microsoft Flight as well as comments on the impact of the new Marketplace."
So who did Microsoft reply to? Who did they feel was worthy instead of posting it on their own Flight website?

I'm not saying anything to the contrary. I'm saying let's just wait for some kind of official word. It's all hearsay until something comes straight from Microsoft or an ACES spokesperson.
Like I said, until an official word arrives, just assume it's all still on track and being worked on. Believing a vlogger or a magazine only leads to greater speculation.
