13 new shots have been published (Still around Hawaii, but very awesome!) as well as the minimum system specs required to run Flight. (and the specs to get the most out of it)

Man im gettting pretty sick of hawaii...they do look nice though. Ive also noticed that the space required for the game is 10GB as opposed to the 14GB that FSX has.

Sweet shots. Am I the only person who noticed something very new? :hrmm:

You're complaining about this? Oi vey.

To break it down in simple English, more efficient game code requires less space as there's less bloat. I'm sure they came up with some new format for textures too.

What did you see ? I see nothing new in those shots :/
I agree with the comments above though. I'm sick of Hawaii, but the shots look no too bad. The autogen density and is still not good, and the placement is far from perfect, but if the autogen system is the same as in FSX, then this is not an issue.

The road on the bridge looks nice and smooth as well, but I'm not sure the roads on the side of hills will be that smooth.

The instrument lighting in the cockpit look excellent, especially in the screenshot facing the sun.

Wow! Those screenshots look GREAT! Screenshots 9 and 10 show finally some proper roads and screenshots 1, 7, 8 and 12 looks almost photorealistic! I know this is Hawaii, but I guess the same textures and shaders will be used for the rest of the world so I don't think it will look too bad.

The news post was interesting too. Looks like I'll run Flight on medium settings.

Can I be a pain and ask someone to host/post the shots?

I can't get access - page is blocked at work.

Something to do with this picture?

I hope this isn't edited and they've added cloud shadow.

I don't think they're editing those shots as they're developer and not promotional shots.

Where do you see cloud shadows in that picture ? I only see the shadow of the right wall cast on the road....

Presumably the exciting announcement in December will either be the start of the beta or when the beta will start?

Then how do you explain the darkness of the trees poking over the top?

and also the dark area in the middle of this picture that doesn't appear to me to be terrain shadow?

It looks like scenery shadow to me. Time in the screenshot seems to be early morning or evening, with low sun and long mountain shadows.

Looks nice but when are we going to see some neighborhoods, cities, and night shots? That one shot in the thunderstorm approach looks like there won't be any rain effects on the windscreen  :hrmm: On the other hand, it's refreshing to see they seemed to have focused on performance according to the news page.

Dear Microsoft: When showing off game screenshots, please capture screenshots in high resolution and don't compress the living :hrmm: out of each image. God forbid your multi-billion dollar corporation is going to lose a few extra cents this month pushing high quality images to it's users.

Otherwise the new screenshots look good. Not sure what to make of the 'highway' yet.

Dear American education system,

Please, for the love of God and everything good, educate your students on how to use "its" and "it's" appropriately.
