Doesn't look like much of an improvement as far as PC specs recommended for high settings, I'd have to have my PC overclocked I think.

Scumbag Microsoft: Needs expensive new hardware to run FSX; old hardware runs MS Flight just fine.

Not much of an improvement? What?
With FSX, you need high end hardware 5 years after release to run it well. According to Microsoft, with Flight, present day hardware should do fine.

What I mean is that I'll probably have to Over clock my i7, hopefully not though.
But I'm running at 2.67 GHz stock with a GTX 480 GPU, I hope it will perform withoput OC'g, I like the smaller electric bill by running at 2.67 and putting the PC to sleep while not in use opposed to the higher bill to OC and run at 4.2GHz, and yes, there is quite a difference.

That's because Flight is just FSX with new shadows.

Oh well.... I wouldn't mind a new FSX with less bugs and better lighting+shadowing, to fly my Accusim planes over my OrbX sceneries...
Oh wait, that's P3D...

during the last years there have been many improvements in graphics experience and when fsx came out it wasn't still ready for the high end technologies of 5 years ago..
now i think we reached the balance.. there is a marketing strategy which wants people with low pc specs, to upgrade to a high end pc specs.
we have seen it with battlefield which is a beast of game (on the nvidia website there is a clear message: IS YOUR PC READY FOR PLAYING BATTLEFIELD?)
i don't think microsoft flight won't support the power of an i7 or the speed of actual graphic chipsets
