I think it's funny to see how the Flight dev team is in denial about all of this

They're not in denial about anything. They know Flight sucks. Do you really think they're that naive?

It's a shame to spend good effort developing a good platform, and then screwing it up with terrible lack of features and marketing strategy. Although FSX would perform just as good in Hawaii with a GA aircraft, so who knows.

All I want really is 64bit support for FSX so it uses all the rams and better use of GPU power. O and also a way to update the internal NAV database (sometimes it conflicts with the databasei in the plane's FMC)

*Microsoft categorized it as simulation! Valve isn't in charge of that.

Valve does, however, get ~30-40% of the sales.

Well that is false advertising, Simulation is the imitation of the operation of a real-world process or system over time. Not jumping through hoops in hawaii and landing an airplane with your mouse.

Wait- you mean to say an airplane cockpit isn't 'just like a car'?

Well Microsoft is saying that if both pilots somehow become unable to fly the airplane you can get right in the cockpit, make a few mouse clicks and land that airplane no problemo.
