Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I'm having with my new computer I got for christmas that was purchased just for fsx. I expected excellent frame rates, even more than I got in fs9 when I flew on that sim (40fps avg.), but I am getting no more than 10 on average.
Anyways, I'll provide my specs and hopefully someone could provide some expertise into what to do. (Also, before anyone suggests it - I've installed the Venetubo fps boost and got about 5+ fps.)

Well the biggest problem I see is your video card. It is a extremely low end card. And then you need to overclock that processor as much as possible as FSX likes clock speed.

lol yeah... gt 520. wow. that's a bummer.
that needs to go immediately. at least get a 560ti or 660ti and you will fly off into the sunset laughing.
unfortunately another case of an impulse buy. no research went into building this rig obviously. otherwise you would have gotten an Intel sandy bridge and a better video card. this was for fsx after all, right?
