Hey guys,

I am building a pc so i need to know if my FSX will run smoothly, with PMDG 737 (and in time to come 777) REX and GEX

AMD Phenom II X6 1045T Overclocked to 3.5Ghz
Sapphire Radeon 7770 Vapour X
4gb Kington DDR3 1333 Ram
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

CPU and Video Card are too weak to handle FSX the way you would like it to.  Look into the Intel Core i5 2500K or 3570K, a P77 chipset motherboard, 4GB DDR3 1600 RAM, and at least a Nvidia GTX 660 graphics card.

Ok i got it, but will it at least be ok? Im trying to build a mid range pc. I already got the Phenom and the 660 is wayy out of my spending zone

Fair enough, wasn't aware that you already had the CPU.  The hardware in your original post will run FSX, but don't expect to max anything out.  Sliders will probably have to be around 60-70% in the settings, and make sure you aren't using much traffic because that will kill performance.

TBH you might be better off with FS9, you should be able to max everything out with all sorts of add-ons.

Ok thanks so much for the advice. I really don't mind the sliders at 60% to 70% and their is no way  i don't think i will go back to FS9 though . However my main concern is the texture loading speeds. Will my ground textures be sharp instantly, and autogen load instantly?
