Hi all! As a relative noob to Vatsim, I've found planGv3 for my flight planning (I fly vfr) and I'm getting the hang of the lingo. My one main question, as dumb as it may be, is when you're on unicom and approaching a controller's airspace, how do you know whether and when to switch to their freq.? Thanks in advance, Antony

Usually they will send you a private message in text asking you to contact them on frequency.

If you know which frequency your going to need, and have it ready then all the better
