pecs:

Operating System
Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
CPU
AMD FX-6100
Zambezi 32nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 803MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. GA-78LMT-S2P (Socket M2)
Graphics
W1642 (1360x768@60Hz)
1024MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (ASUStek Computer Inc)
Hard Drives
466GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AAKX-001CA0 ATA Device (SATA)
75GB Seagate ST380815AS ATA Device (SATA)

You've probably seen a thread like this before, but non of the solutions on other forums work. FSX runs at about 20FPS in the air and 15 on the ground. I've messed about with the settings several times, I've downloaded things that people claim are "fixes", I've used 3rd party software to tweak inaccessible settings, looked at other forums posts with people that have the same problem, lurked around google for hours, I've used the ENB mod (people say it get's you better FPS under some circumstances), countless mods, I've tried soo many things, all of which didn't fix it.
Anyone got any ideas?

You'll need a better processor and overclock it at that.
You'll want a much better video card.
A decent sized SSD for OS + core programs, such as FSX.

We're closing in on 7 years since FSX was released, but even today's computers still struggle with the program whereas we thought back then today's computers would chew through it. Sadly the program is built on top of an older code base which wasn't optimized to begin with. Most have moved on to X-Plane 10 since Flight was a dud.

This guy has almost the same specs as I do, except the graphics card is a little better than mine,
What's up with that?
No, I don't have any resource hungry processes in the background.

I see plenty of microstutters and lagging when the environment is loading. His loading radius is rather small. Not many buildings either.

Unfortunately your graphics card is low end and your cpu is also. You do need to overclock at the very least and replace that gpu with something along the lines of a 660ti or better.

The reason I posted this is because I had a PC that was 8 years old with 4GBs of RAM (DDR2), anATi 3450 512MB , and a single core 1.8ghz AMD 64 Athlon CPU and FSX ran fine at about 25-30fps, I didn't expect it to run so well or to run any better. Now, I'm asking why my new better computer can't run it at anything above 20fps, I'll try and overclock my CPU when I get a new cooler, if that doesn't work I'll get a new Graphics Card, IF THAT doesn't work, screw FSX, I'll wait for FS11.

You will be waiting a longggggg time for FS11 as Microsoft stopped making Flightsim and now it belongs to Prepar3d by Lockheed Martin.

Actually a friend sent me this: http://www.change.or...ht-simulator-11
Apparently they were going to make FS11 some time next year, but they put off the project for better things.

About my FPS issue, I deleted my "FSX.cfg" from the appdata folder, now I'm getting around 60FPS at most times, thanks for the help anyway.

That is funny! Microsoft sold off all the code to Prepar 3d Lookheed Martin. So all the petitions in the world won't help.
