In the summer of 2003 Jet City Aircraft was founded with the intent of making realistic DC-9's for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002, and 2004. Jet City Aircraft is still working on DC-9's nearly a year after they were founded - they already have released the Series 10 and 20, and are following those with the Series 30, 40, and 50. But what to do after the DC-9's?
After e-mailing Nick Botamer from Jet City Aircraft I still have no idea as to what is next after the DC-9's, but I do have a few clues. Jet City Aircraft is already working on their new aircraft, what they like to call Project X, but what could this new plane be? Some of the speculation points to the DC-8, DC-10, MD80, MD90, and the L1011. More information is being released on Jet City Aircraft's website in small clues, such as an aircraft in the background pictures on the site, or repaints that shouldn't go with the DC-9's.
While you're waiting for “Project X" to be completed and released you should try out the DC-9's. The DC-9's are all priced at $12.95, and well worth the money. You can check out Jet City Aircraft's website here.
