Tim isnt the size rule still used.? The first vid is 20 MB! Good one though!

Great vid mate..and even more special considering its an addon scenery and with a GF4 MX  , the fps are outstanding!

The rule is 20MB. It was raised last contest because of all the suggestions I got. As for the prizes, I can't do anything about it because when the sponsor is donating there prize they get the month and of course the sponsor goes to the SS contest.

Ohh sorry guys forgot bout the vid contest this month lol
computer problems need a new mobo

anyways maybe we could like email lago or one of the main payware makers and try get a sponser every month

we could say they could use the winning video as the promo video

and the winner gets the full version plane

or something along the lines

just an idea

Yes,
and the first vid looks like a promo video for the beaver from aerosoft.
Excellent video though...one of the few videos i have seen that  matches the music and is very calm and soothing.

Looking forward to more..BTW ,don't know why dolb. encoded his in mpg format!

I've been thinking about this keeping it a secret thing for the video contest. Some things really point out the obvious as to whose video belongs to who. As for the prize read my post above.

I am forced to encode in .mpg as Windows Movie maker isn't working which Is what I use to compress my videos!

(It may not be a great editor; But I'm not going to leave the program do nothing when its really a great compressor )

Going on to vid 2.  The most amazing thing is the image quality...at 319kbps bitrate!    Great scenery, I need to get my hands on it.  I'd have loved to see that Twin Otter(?) do a circuit, showing off the general scenery.  That pier is sweet.

I'll give vid 1 another chance within the next three days and then vote (and edit this post accordingly).

oookkk, didn't know about the time restriction on the "edit".  Just procrastinating again and tried my luck on Vid 1.  It finally worked and the quality at 650kb bitrate is...schweet!

It was confusing at first when the location changed for the 1st time and then finally got the motive.  Maybe, too much time was spent on the 1st location but it's a nice vid!

Watched Vid 2 again to refresh my memory...both are bloody scweet, a very hard call.
