Ok and now how do I get all those nice Icons and stuff
Those are for a program called Object Dock that I mentioned in my first post.

Also in my first post I put a list of sites where I got the icons from, icons for the dock have to be .png type.

Do you mean for toolbars for Firefox or IE? as these are seperate skins you have to download.

Or do you mean the actual Win XP explorer, My Computer section?

As those are all changed with the themes.

Well some themes only change certain things like colour, fonts, etc

Like this Tiger theme I'm using:

Where as some other themes change the layout, etc.

You need to search for a theme that has that changed basically.

In this link here are the best themes IMO.

You'll find one eventually.

You are running Windows XP right?

As for that error, I have no clue what that's all about.

Do you have a spare hard drive that you can run the program off?

I installed mine with my last fresh install of Win XP.

Did you uninstall Style XP? It's worth a try.

You could try running the proggy off the spare hard drive.

Oh well, this sucks, i tried everything, i tried patchxp, all these uxtheme patches, none work, i cant even install themes now, the only way i could do it was with style xp, im not reinstalling windows just for this, there has to be something.

This Uxtheme patcher is basically the Windows explorer and uses no more or less ram, where as Style XP is a bloated piece of carp that takes up ram.

Thanks leworthy for the link for the "Uxtheme patcher"

I did mine manually about a year ago by renaming the uxtheme.dll file in the System32 folder and in the dllcache folder, and then placing the new uxtheme.dll in the System32 folder.  This Uxtheme patcher is a much easier way to go about doing it!!  :D
