How to do subtle jetblast.

First, get a picture that clearly shows the engines of the plane and open it in photoshop.

Use the lasso tool and cover the area directly behind the engine, slowly expanding as u get further away from the engine.

Now, use the gaussian blur tool at a radius of o.4 pixels. use the gaussian blur twice to achieve just the right effect.

Now, go to the ocean ripple tool. set th sliders as shown and use the tool twice.

Now, go back and do the gaussian blur twice. touch it up with the smudge tool if needed (i don't know where it is lol)  and tadaah!!!

thanks guys, the reason i made a new one was because i dint like the jetblast on cessnas tutoorial(no offence dude)

oh, I edited the colour balance and contrast, and i used the add noise tool.

thats awesome bro.
i tried it out
that was mi first edit
and another thing u shud do is liquify it(thats what i do). this makes it look a bit more realistic because when you look through that jetblast in real life, it looks like the objects behind it are wide and blurry(thats what i think)
