It's a fad.  If anyone does a VTOL vid, anyone would think that the idea was ripped off from that vid although I do remember messing around with a MelJet 777...

A fad a term used in fashion.  Creative yet short lasting.  People will get tired of the VTOL concept very quickly.

Sleeping is the worst thing to do.  I missed what 39C said.

However, we still cannot deny that creativity gives the "wow" factor to vids.  Be it camera angles, flying, the "storyline"

Back to the contest - enough off topic chitchat for me

Vid 1: Would be better if it was shorter I think.  I personally need to cut down on my length of vids as well to avoid "boredom".

Vid 2: Let's skip this.

Vid:3: Quite a nice vid, amazing quality for a 512 bitrate.  I wish I got that kind of quality from the same wmv.  Some clips were too focused on the plane.  Showed nothing but the plane if you know what I mean.  Show off the Swiss scenery a little more!

Vid 4: Creative, fun flying.  Creativity is a huge shortcut in cutting vid production time if you have the talent.  Videos must be made with the "customer" in mind (which I'm not really good at admittedly).  This vid achieves that.  The "customers" here love and yearn for creativity.

The biggest drawback I found is that the music however seems to be a ripoff of the lawn mower RC vid http://www.fs2004.co...showtopic=41640 which has a very similar theme.

Vid 5: I liked the stalling interlude between the sceneries, amazing vid quality but the link seems to have finally died.

No hard feelings intended.

Many people have spent alot of time on these videos to try to win but a little video with no signfance is winning because its funny, if you have the time to watch ALL the videos please do so then judge em on the video production and content
but of course once again thats my oppion

Ill try and spend more, time making my videos then   , i even if it was made really quickly doesnt make it anyless of a video. Lol Joking, I just thought the video came out great.

I didn't copy the idea, i just needed a funny tune, and found this song on a CD i had.

I disagree with you BAC, The aim of the video contests are to make a video that people will like, not 'Whoever puts the most effort in wins' .

I still havn't viewed them all .
