Ok folks, it's time to get this project going, a big thanks to Brad for setting up our sub-forum!

I have created a team account at folding@home, the number you will need is 49149,
use this number in the 'team field' when setting up your client.

Please start a new thread if you have general or technical questions, this will help to keep the posts organised and easier to answer.

Here is the home page for folding@home
http://www.stanford....egroup/folding/

Download your client here
http://www.stanford....g/download.html

They have a forum that may be helpful if we run into issues that we cannot deal with ourselves
http://forum.folding-community.org/

Lets start folding  :D

I don't think the stats are working properly.

If I click User Stats, it says I'm in about 50 different teams, and if I click Team Stats, the fs2004 team hasn't got any members.

Thats because:

1. Your nickname is being used more than just yourself, so you are all "sharing" this name. Pick a more unique name.

2. You are not a team member until you complete a WU. Since it takes a few days to complete a WU the team won't have any stats/members for a few days.

I really would doubt it, It most likely doesn't run in Standby either.

Did you select a unique name?

And perhaps it's because no one has submitted any completed WUs under the team number yet?

I am using the name "FS2004.COM-Jon" - this guarantees me a unique username and makes it easy to know what team I'm submitting work units for.

And yes, the more computers you can install it on (using the same name and team ID 49149) the faster work units will be completed.

Thanks for getting this going Coffee!  Good cause and we'll have fun while we're at it. :D
