We have decided that due to the amount of work it takes to capture and edit a video the Video Contest will be held quarterly instead of monthly.  The new contest schedule is as follows:

Start Accepting Entries:
January 1
April 1
July 1
October 1

Kevin (Mandango), Brad, and myself agree that this should make the video contests more interesting as more members will be able to participate.  

Get your videos ready for July 1!

People are interested in the contest, but we need some direction while there is interest.

Sorry to bother, but how do we upload a video for the contest?  Or should I find a third party website to host the video?

If it's under 50 mb in size then you can upload it at our download library fs2004.com/downloads

I thought the videos wernt meant to be previewd before the contest, to save being biased against or for one video maker!

Yes, the 4th quarter video contest which will accept entries starting October 1.  The 3rd quarter contest (the first one since we started quarterly contests) was scrubbed because there weren't enough entries.  Enough time has passed now that hopefully there will be some participants.  There have certainly been enough good videos posted in the forum lately!
