they are one of if not still the best selling commerical airliner OF ALL TIME!

Ok, it's the best sellling airliner, but I won't say it rules the skies until I see it go head-to-head with an F-15C and win a simulated dogfight. After it beats the jet that has never been defeated in combat, then it will rule the skies  :D
And yet they're two different categories   I just love twisting people's arm farther behind their back :D I'd like to see an F-15C go head to head with an A380 I'm sure the F-15C would hit right into the A380 and that whale bucket of bolts will just keep on flying  jkjk don't quote me here

Well, the sidewinders go straight for the engines....the F-15 carries four of them....the A380 has four engines....

Yes really Zarquen. Why would you compare to planes from different catagories. Your talking about comparing a passenger jet to a military fighter. Obvisoly the jet fighter can fly higher and faster then the 737 hands down, doesn't make it the best though. Hey, while we're at it you might as well compare a passenger bus with a dogde Viper. Thats pretty much what you did.

Hey, you didn't say the 737 rules the civie skies, you said it rules the skies period, and I was just pointing out which aircraft rightfully earned the ruler of the skies title. Fact is the F-15 earned the title with an unbeaten loss-to-kill ratio in addition to being a very well-selling, a very safe, a very reliable, and a very record setting/breaking aircraft. No need to get all agitated.  :D
