The Logitech 2.4 cordless joystick is a fantastic idea by arguably the leading manufacturer of joysticks. It means no wires and more space on your desk. Also, you can feel the quality - no cheap loose parts. It responds to your touch fairly well, and is pretty precise. The only thing I would comment on is the fact you need batteries to power it, but the power consumption is incredibly low. I only have to change my batteries around every 2 months - not bad for saying I am on flight sim most days 
A must for simmers who want precise control, and desk space at the same time!

This is the best joystick that I have ever had.
It is very responsive and feels nice.
It also has very funky feet that are made out of a rubbery material, so it doesn't slide around the desk very easily when in use. (isn't rubber though)

This is great piece of hardware. The desgin is not only cool, but it also feels sturdy and strong, with none of that cheap or loose plastic feel. The battery life is also good, I replace them around every 2-3 months. Best part is that it's no an infra-red joystic. This joysitck uses the same technology used in cordless phones that you might have in you house. So you don'y have to have the reciever right infront of the joysitck.

it's built to last, feels good in the hand, has no loose parts. good construction, cool design, batteries last forever (i use 1700mah rechargables) has all the buttons in the right place.
a bigger throttle would have been nice.
access to button #4 isnt as good becuase sometimes it needs more pressure to press it.
A bigger base would support the joystick even better.
In some games, when the joystick goes to sleep mode, its like its held to the right.
Costumizing the time before it enters sleep mode would have been a great feature.
The green led should be on as long as the joystick is active.
Some extra buttons on the joystick's base would have been a great addition.

The joystick is excellent. I had it for 5-6 months and didn't change the batteries yet. The throttle can be loosened or tightened easily by twisting the little scew. I don't get the poeple who put 'batteries' in 'cons'. It is a CORDLESS joystick! hehe All in all it is excellent.
