The 727-100 had been in service barely a year when Boeing began serious consideration of a stretched, greater capacity development. This resulted in the 727-200, which Boeing announced it was developing in August 1965. The 727-200 was essentially a minimum change development of the 100, the only major change being the 6.10m (20ft) fuselage stretch, which increased maximum seating to 189 passengers. The 727-200's stretch consisted of two 3.05m (10ft) plugs, one forward and one rear of the wing. Otherwise the 727-100 and 200 shared common engines, fuel tank capacity and the same maximum takeoff weight. The first flight of the 727-200 occurred on July 27 1967, with certification granted in late November that year. The -200 was placed into service by launch customer Northeast Airlines (this airline was later acquired by Delta) the following month, by which time total 727 orders for both models had exceeded 500.The 727-200 helped broaden the sales appeal of the 727 considerably and snared significant sales.

Aircraft created in GMax. Includes interactive virtual cockpit, full moving parts including leading edge flaps and passenger door and passenger backdoor . Custom sound set included.

Notes:

Please note that I have tried to make the virtual cockpit for the sake of practical use in Flight Simulator as well as being close to the real thing. The simicon buttons for autopilot/Radio Stack & GPS will display in the main glass screen on the panel.

Thanks To Fabian Engeser and Brett Henderson for their great contribuitions of the remaking of this plane. Both members of simviation forums.

This file is freeware. Any use for commercial purposes is strictly forbidden. Do not make money from it in any way.
It's available free of charge on my home site www.Simviation.com or in Avsim The only two websites which I personally upload all my aircrafts,It doesn't meant I'm against redistribuition from other webs, I'm against those webs who offered my plane and you have to paid to subscribe, YOU CAN NOT PAID IN ANYFORM IS COMPLETLY ILEGAL to get any of my aircrafts, THIS IS A FREEWARE!, so please don't be fooled !! If you want to pay someone, well just pay me! I'm a really poor man..
All my FS aircraft were created in gMax entirely by me. Please understand that most of the great planes are made by teams of developers. In my case my team is my Pentium 4 and me..so please understand..

This Aircraft was inspired by one of the greatest models better than any payware; The Vistaliners freeware B727 exterior model ,but I made it (as usual) with Virtual cockpit,if Vistaliners would include a nice VC in their model, I wouldn't dear to release this model. Besides today's new Flight simulators entusiast people, rather to fly in Virtual Cockpit mode ,even this New FSX was mosly design to step away from 2d Cockpits, that's history ,Its a new era.
Most of the people rather today to use the Hat switch buttom in their Joysticks, It bring us much more reality ,2d panel's virtual pilots will have to get used to VC once FS11 is out. I'm a Virtual Pilot since MSFS98 and once the VC was establish in FS2002 ,I can't fly in 2d panel anymore...But I made a nice 2d Panel to all my designs including this one..
