Description

This is a high-resolution photoreal scenery for the Hawaiian island of Ni'ihau, located southwest of Kauai. Made from a mosaic of 1m NOAA aerial photographs and 10m source data mesh. Niihau is the smallest populated island in the Hawaiian island chain, and is privately owned. No visitors are allowed on the island, giving it the nickname "The Forbidden Isle", and there is no airfield. However, it is a beautiful natural spot to explore with rugged 1000 ft. tall cliffs, huge sand dunes, and remains of volcanic craters.
