I know how to make AI planes not to appear in the FS-menu, but I want to see all of them. I assigned them a manufacturer of "Z---AI", because this will be in the bottom of the list. I would like to see all my AI planes, because I'm doing a custom AI, and want to check them if everything is OK rather than seeing planes without liveries in airports when flying.

I know something is set in the .air file (if not the model.cfg).
How to edit this parameter?

Use a program called AirEd; the line you need to change is "105 * Aircraft Type =0" .... change 0 to 1 and save.  You can save yourself some trouble and prevent massive delays in loading time, however.  Only change that line for the particular aircraft you are working on; leave the others set to 0.  Once you've proofed all of the liveries for a particular aircraft, they aren't going to change; and the more AI aircraft the sim has to list in the selection menu, the longer it's going to take for the sim to load up.

Thanks Sarge! I think I'll do what you suggest: I'll enable all of them for a check, then set them back to 0.

What does that mean if 2 is written for Aircraft type? Does it matter if I set it to zero for no visibility?

I had a lot of AI in "2" and changed them to zero, and nothing seems to happen
