PMDG747 - TRACKIR4 - FS2CREW - The Ultimate.

We got it all running here. The full house. The ultimate TrackIR vid for heavy fans!!!

Shot in the style of an ITVV video, here we take the Cathay Pacific 747 from top of descent all the way to the stand at Hong Kong VHHH. Watch out for the city on the right through the clouds as we go in. Our arrival is the ELATO1A around Lantau Island.

Feel the power of the Rolls Royce RB-211 engines as we make turn through 180 degrees to final on runway 07L through the harbour smog, as all the checklists are run by the First Officer using FS2Crew.

This video was recorded live. No replays used here.

For those who are thinking of buying, or just curious as to how good FS9 can get.

Note!! 200mb download:  DOWNLOAD LINK

Update: Stunning video  ! That FS2crew makes it much more realistic. I liked the view on the airport between the clouds and a relaxing soundtrack.
In the ITV video there are landing at the old airport, isn't it?

Scott.

Thanks Scott. Had a bit of practice now, and I fly that approach a lot cause it's good fun. One of my favouties for the 747 and cause there's a lot of water your framerates stay high.

You'll love T/IR. It will take you a couple of months to get used to it. Will be interested to hear what you think of it.

I must say, a very nice video there Maximus!

I think i noticed a small turn on the fianl when by looking at the attitude indicator you were already on the centerline, maybe just me! but i loved it.

Wish i could make vids.

Uploading it to YouTube means reducing the file to under 100MB's

It was a nice video, it looks like TrackIR is awesome.

Max one question for you, let say when activating the / or * to use Walk and Follow, can you track the plane with TrackIR as well. I been having doubts and question if I should by it

Probably too big for youtube.

Thanks all.

Evolt: I had to lower the gear before my final turn was complete as the GS marker was already on its way down. In retrospect it was probably a little too early but I was 8nm)

Spice: No you can't in FS9, but you can in FSX (with the external view, W&F not compatible yet)
