Ok i successfully created an Animated jetway that is Activated by Radio Freq.

PROBLEM, i attached some effects to a couple light strobes on the jetway and made sure the attachpoint was linked to the parent item SO that the effect moves with the Jetway.

i see the attachpoint move with the jetway in GMAX.
the effect DOES NOT move in FS2004?!!
it just sits there!

does anyone know what i missed or did wrong in the setup for the effect?!

Have you forgotten to name the box that has the effect attached tick18_(whatever) by any chance?

Heck! LOL the whole animation would not work if i didn't do that!

My animation Does work, its the >>Attached Effect<< that does not want to move with the jetway, Even though i made sure the the cube its attached to is linked to the parent object in the model.  i did a test and got it to move in another model.

somthing screwy!

lolol yes so true hmm yeh its probably somthing screwy , all thoes steps involved in making a animated jetway make things messy don't they. My advice is inspect the model carefully.
