I was going to say the same thing, but I didn't want to be the only one with a different opinion.  I guess the sky looks more realistic, but it also has sort of a painted quality to it.

Wow, thank you guys

You have the SP1 beta 2 installed. but somewhere i was reading that yoy have to install SP1 on a clean install of FSX... so do that mean that everytime you have a new SP you have to reinstall everything?
Phil Taylor mentioned that all other files than cfg should be original to ensure it will install and function correct. I also recommend, you disable ALL tweaks (like f.e. fiber frame or pool size) when you run the first tests. It's maybe a little work, but it is worth the effort. Believe me...

The last one! Do you have the original so I can put it as my background?!
Sorry Alex, i don't keep the originals. My hard drive would melt...

Well, there are many different sky textures which are changing like the default ones. I saw only a view yet, but i really like what i see. Like i said, IMO it looks more natural. The last two pics from the second set were taken at LOWI - this was for me one of the nicest evening atmosphere ever without over saturated colors. But of course some will like it better, some not

  Somehow i had to get rid of that one...

Thanks guys. Yes, X-Class and Real Sky are a great improvement and together with ActiveSky on top of the 'must have' list. It will be amazing to see what the addon future will bring us. A lot of developments are on the parking ramp untilSP1 is released. Yesterday i made an amazing winter flight with the Liberty, will post some impressions shortly.

Cheers

The best part, the price!

The addons are getting in range to where I don't even really have to think about it.

Cloud9 - XClass World CD = $31 usd (or 10 bucks for singles)
Real Sky x3 = 16 usd

You are ate up with the Cirrus craft, Mango.

Do you like Eaglesoft's Cirrus SR22 more than their Liberty XL2?

That's difficult to answer... For shorter VFR hops at low altitude (called sight seeing) i really like the Liberty. For longer distances or IFR the Cirrus fits perfect. They play in a different league   .
