the primary link for it is dead.
So i ask and revive this topic:
HOW do you make a runway Active for AI?
and deactivate the one they are using.

Did you read the thread right below this one (by johnpc)?  Matt Duxbury's starcalc.zip is in the AVSIM file library.

I'm also interested in star runways, but going into it cold (I am familiar with AFCAD but not star runways). As we no the PAI tute is gone. Johnpc's post asked about selective activation of runways but the solution simply involved designating closure of regular runways.
I have just downloaded starcalc but I'd like to see the original tute to get an understanding of the process.
Has anyone found a source for the tutorial? Or else, would they be prepared to post it at FSW (subject to permission) or email it to me?

And me, too. Until now, I have just found this (only the part 1 of 3)

If I obtain the parts 2 & 3, I'll try to make them available to you

I managed to find copies, but unfortunately with limitations. I'm told that the original author of the tute is serving in the military now and cannot be contacted. Reggie Fields talked with him before that . The results, along with input from Jim Vile apparently will form the basis of a new tutorial at some vague future time.
The provision, when the copies were sent to me, was that they not be uploaded to any sites, though (limited) person-to-person was not ruled out.
Starcalc is a useful tool but the tute makes everything clear.
If anyone can't get it elsewhere and seriously plans a project requiring it, PM me. I swing by here at least weekly.
