You can't ever get rid of it. Why would you?

When I first stated playing Flight Simulator about gee maybe around 11 years ago the industry really didn't have these twist style joysticks. It was your regular type, just simple and basic. I've owned a ton of joysticks and I've never gotten as great quality as Microsoft or Logitech. I got sick of the cables and annoyances of them. So I got the wireless one, I thought it wouldn't be good, but it's served me for a good amount of time. I bought mine brand new for around 114 dollars. It was the price for it back in 2003.

The twists don't have a command, I learned that a few days ago. I tried finding it in FSX, but it isn't there. It's a preset / predetermined sensitivity.

Well, news for you, you can delete the axis assignment in FS9 :censored: and that's what I did. Thanks Flying pie.

Oh. Microsoft's sticks were very high quality; my Sidewinder (the original) just recently crapped out after many years. It's too bad they stopped making them.

As for Logitech, I'm talking about the sticks they're making now. I don't know if older sticks were higher quality, but that's not really important, now is it?

Yeah it's a shame alright. I'd suspect Logitech uses good parts when the stick first comes out and crap parts later on. Although I doubt it, I don't plan on getting a Saitek either, just too bulky.

the Saitek X52 is imo, BY FAR THE BEST JOYSTICK/THROTTLE SET TO GET.

It is unbeaten.

But for now, the budget is only $50 or so. So, that leaves the AV8R, or some stupid logitech. I love the X52, but since it isnt in the budget, i say go for the AV8R.

exactly. I get your point man. It's exactly the joystick and problem I had. But I kinda fixed it now. I put some aluminum in an axis inside the joystick to keep it steady, and took out the rudder. Now I use autorudder and the jostick works well. But I stll need a new one, lol.
