Just started this not long ago, got the nose done and a bit further, I also managed to get the engines roughed out. Tell me how it looks, I also need someone good with guages, I'm planning to simulate the systems, I will help with this as I'm natural with coding and photoshop, so if I look it up, should be a doddle.

More pics soon.

Looking good so far hope everything works out fine. This is going to be great if all systems are modeld.

Well I am planning to not release until I am 100% satisfied, and thats hard to do. I saw this aircraft last night while browsing, fell in love with it straight away, it's a beauty in landing config. If anyone has any pictures of the cockpit, systems, gear, basicly anything that can be modeled accuratly I need pics off, I'm about to head to a.net now.

Looks good. :censored:

But, to be honest, there's not much point in modelling a TU-154 IMO

There's already an excellent freeware one that's got really good systems simulation etc.

Another shot, passenger windows cut-out, the ones waiting are the door windows, which will come after the doors.

Thanks, I'm realy keen to keep going, a few other ones I started I wasn't so fussed about so I dropped them. I use boolean to cut it with subtract then use a clone and boolean again with intersect to get the perspex, it can leave a messy mesh around with lots of triangles which bugger up when applying any smoothing, but you just clean it up as best you can.

Just started the gear well, gear is next.

The rate the model is going I might have time to do it after, all depends on how long the guages take. Does anyone have a close-up of the wing by any chance? Basic wing done, need to add flaps in and such like.

Thanks for the kind comments
