I think a rule change is needed to allow a 1px black border/stroke.

Some of these even have part of the original border.

  Agreed.. in my opinion there are quite a few shots there that have been edited, adding a border is still editing, technically

I though that the SUN MUST BE IN THE PICTURE, THAT WAS THE RULE OF THE THEME CONTEST, I see some screenshots that has no sun on them.

Also agreed - I don't see any harm in the 1px border.  Rules updated.

What about the shots that are not ok with the rules of the theme? There are 3 of them.

What do you mean? The tiny black border that can be seen in some of the shots are a sideeffect of Anti Aliasing. Removing them would mean cropping them, and cropping is editing.

IIRC the rules only said, that the time must be set to around sunset/sunrise, not that the sun has to be in the shot.

all I wanna know is why my screenshot wasn't included. I sent my pic in well in as soon as the announcement was made on the 7th of October.  Is there a only a certain amount that can be in the final vote? Its just very disconcerting to know that half of the screenshots don't qualify because of the rules involved- those free spots should have been given to other people who had PM'ed their screenshots that followed ALL the rules.

I sent a PM back to you.  Your shot did not conform to the size limitations, to which you never replied.

As for the rules, I simply only saw the Sunrise/Sunset theme.  I personally believe that the sunrise/sunset period should be fine, but I shall be consulting the administration as to what to do regarding such.

Otherwise, continue voting.

1. Cropping is allowed.

2. AA does not cause the black border round un-cropped images.

I never recieved that PM. Maybe there are some bugs or something in the system. If I had gotten that PM, you could bet your bottom that I'd reply. Its not your fault. I'll check things on my end.
