For the past several months I have been getting many PM's from new members who want to enter the contests when it is already over. Apparently, it isn't clear when the contests start.

So, in order to make things crystal clear, I'll try explain when the contest (edited and non-edited) begins and ends.

The General Screenshot Contest:

• This contest starts accepting entries every first day of the month at the time indicated by the countdown clock which is displayed at the top of the main forum page the last couple days of each month.  Early submissions will be rejected.
  
  
• The voting begins when all entries have been collected and the poll topic created.  This is usually on the 2nd day of the month, but sometimes the 3rd.
  
  
• The contest always ends sometime during the 10th day of the month.

The Edited Screenshot Contest:

• This contest accepts entries on the 15th of the month. To enter this contest you will have to send your submission to ~ COCHISE ~.  
  
  
• The contest ends on the 25th of the month.
