Hello
I've just got TrackIR.
It's working fine in Windows and it worked first time in rFactor (racing simulator).
I cannot get it to work at all in FSX.
The software is obviously picking up that FSX has loaded becauses it switches to "Flight" profile automatically.
I am running Windows XP 64-bit and FSX with Acceleration upgrade which has SP2.
When I run FSX TrackIR does not function at all.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it.
Thanks

new one on me. Long shot but you haven't accidentally pressed F9 (disables input from Track IR until repressed)?

No, I've tried pressing that whilst in the sim, plus F12 to centre.

Are you in the Virtual Cockpit in FSX?
Make sure that you don't have the 2-D cockpit selected in the Settings menu.

I have the same problem both in XP and in Vista 64-bit... SP 2 is evil for trackIR I suspect I want to remember it working earlier...

Iam running vista 32-bit home premium/FSX/Acceleration/SP2 and Trackir is working fine for me. Never had a problem in FSX, but I do in rfactor, go figure.

Managed to get it working. I just needed to reboot. Worked right away.
Had not rebooted since installing TrackIR software.
Cheers

tweak
My version of TrackIR software is 4.1 build 30, so yes, it works on my system. Windows XP 64-bit and latest FSX with Acceleration and SP2.

Good for you. My reader broke once when playing FS9 and simming without it was most traumatic - I'd move my head but nothing would happen
